This intricate and stately jacquard checkerboard lining is woven to perfection. A symmetrical checkerboard pattern is woven into the fabric, this gives the material a depth and distinction that can't be rivaled by any printed lining.
Each corner of the checkerboard pattern comes together and sought in the light creates an optical effect similar to an array of rhombuses.
The smooth and flowing hand that, when used as a lining, allows the garment to lay against the body without static and slide without resistance is excellent for lining suits, vests and ties. This fabric could also be used for light upholstery or drapery.
The fabric measures 58 inches (147.32 cm) wide with a one inch (2.54 cm) selvage and a .344 inch (0.87376 cm) repeat. The composition is 100% polyester.
There is a slight sheen to the fabric which the camera does not accurately portray. When caught in the light, there is a glistening black that showcases the checkerboard pattern.
The pattern is jacquard, it is woven into the fabric and not printed.
This fabric is machine washable or can be dry-cleaned and should be pressed with a medium temperature iron.
